Hi Ladies!

Time to put up an update of the Health Journey I started late in 2016. I am pleased to say 80% of it is going really well and the other 20% is going wine. I have kept true to my journey in food, fitness, and drinking lots of water –I just have been enjoying wine a little too much and think its still holidays. I figure with all my other virtues surely I am allowed one small weakness…..oh and I am having a coffee each day again and really loving it but I will cut that out again at the end of the month. Unfortunately I just found this delicious coffee below near my house and it is the best I’ve had for ages – Lunardini.

I continue to gym every morning, I continue to have fruit, nuts, seeds, oats, etc for breakfast which is still my favourite breakfast. Lunch is Salmon/Chicken/Meat and salad every day which I still love. And my dinners are a small portion of whatever is going regardless of what it is. I can’t wait to have my Acai Bowl on the week-end and a Raw Treat usually fixes any cravings.

I feel great and am still very motivated and healthy. I sleep well, wake early, I am full of energy all day and still feel good at the end of the day. I can’t believe how much easier life continues to be being 13 kilos less.

I absolutely love how I feel after the gym and I have just had a PT session with a young man who has taught me to row, pull, stretch, push, and squish my shoulder blades together which is in addition to the 30 minutes on the treadmill I do daily.

I will have to knuckle down soon enough when I hit the books so I am just enjoying my ‘unguilty pleasure’ for now. The journey is well and truly a part of my life and I love the new me and all it brings. I realise I really feel 35 and it disappoints me a bit to remember I’m 55– but when you remember that 55 is the old 35 – then it’s ok.

I hope if you also started your health journey and are continuing with it full steam ahead. I will now put on a bit of weight on the scales as I grow my big muscles so I will start using measurements to keep a record and I’m sure my clothes will show me.  I can’t tell you enough how good this feels though – truly worth every day. I’ll do another post in a month with an update.
