As always, our experience at SEE Restaurant at The Wharf, Mooloolaba was first rate. The service was exemplary with wait staff including Maitre d’ Linda, completely in control of our 70 strong guest list for our Christmas Party with at least 10 having special food requirements.
No-one’s meal was missed, everyone received the correct meal, they quickly so no one table was waiting patiently and all staff were professional. The Salmon was just delectable, served with simple greens and a delicious potato croquette.
I only had a small taste of the desserts …..both desserts …. and both were moreish – one a coffee panna cotta and the other a light cheesecake with the most succulent mango on top – both delicious.
And the view – looking out onto the most brilliant expanse of still water the Sunny Coast has to offer towards the waterfront Minyama Island homes and luxury catamarans as the sun sets – it was definitely a memorable night.
And the Shiraz ….. yes it was delightful as was apparently the white and the bubbly and the beer was very cold.
Owners Antonio and Wendy know what it takes to run a successful restaurant and it’s all about quality – service, food and wines – all class and such a treat in a town such as ours which has a huge variety of casual dining restaurants.
We love the Chilean influence from the family in everything they create – and we are going back again tomorrow for another party! Do make a point of trying it out – you won’t regret it. Cheers!
